17JanSummary of week #11 (445 min/52.2 km/4132 cal)

Looking at statistics of this week I think I have made a record … a record that will stay a record for quite some time. I have a treadmill exercise every day. Some days I were full of energy , on others I could not wait to get off the treadmill.

I have also watched my diet and lost 1.5 kg in this week. I hope I will be able to continue this setup and maybe with some shorter exercises this will become a perfect plan.

So the sum of week #11:

  • 445 minutes (7 h 25 min)
  • 52.2 km
  • 4132 burned calories

17JanWeek #11 Saturday exercise / 60 min (7 km)

For the last exercise this week I did a standard 60 minute exercise:

  • 10 minues of warming up
  • 10 minutes of running at 8.5 km/h
  • 10 minutes of incline walking at 8% and 6.4 km/h
  • 10 minutes of running at 8.5 km/h and 2% incline
  • 10 minutes of incline walking at 12% and
  • 10 minutes of walking to cool down

This was an interesting exercise and I’ll have to watch the second half of the movie London to Brighton tomorrow.

While exercising I burned 617 calories and ran/walked 7 km.

16JanWeek #11 Friday exercise / 35 min (4.2 km)

This workout was a short one - only 35 minutes.

I did:

  • 15 minutes of warming up by moderate walking
  • 15 minutes of running at 8.5 km/h and
  • 5 minutes of cooling down.

Altogether I burned 259 calories.

This exercise was instead of a rest day.

15JanWeek #11 Thursday exercise / 90 min (9.5 km)

Although I thought today will be my rest day I did the workout. It was a incline walking/interval attempt that lasted 90 minutes. I did no running today but instead a nice moderate walking exercise was a better choice.

In this exercise I wanted to change speed and incline a lot so speed was always between 5.0 and 6.5 kmh and incline from 0 to 12%. In the whole exercise I have burned 933 calories.

14JanWeek #11 Wednesday exercise / 60 min (7 km)

This exercise on the treadmill had:

  • 10 minutes of walking to warm up
  • 10 minutes of run at 8.5 kmh
  • 10 minutes of moderate walking (up to 8% incline)
  • 10 minute run at 8.5 kmh
  • 5 minute moderate walk
  • 10 minute of walking with incline at 12%
  • 5 minutes of walking to cool down

Whit this I have burned 542 calories.

I think tomorrow will be my day off. From treadmill …

13JanWeek #11 Tuesday exercise / 60 min (7.6 km)

The formula is: 10/20/10/5/5.

  • 10 minutes to warm up by walking
  • 20 minutes of running at 9 kmh
  • 10 minutes of incline walking (8-12% incline)
  • 10 minutes of running at 8.5 kmh
  • 5 minutes of incline walking (12% incline)
  • 5 minutes to cool down by slow walking

The sum was: 7.6 km and 556 burned calories.

I think this is the right formula that gives me diverse workout and I feel this is intense enough for a workout that should be done at least 5 times a week to complete my goals with weight loss.

12JanWeek #11 Monday exercise / 60 min (7.4 km)

I did my running today - 30 minutes in total! :)

It was a great exercise that ended faster than usual (because I was watching an interesting tutorial video while exercising). The formula is: 10/20/10/10/10.

  • 10 minutes of walking to warm up
  • 20 minutes of running at 8.5 kmh
  • 10 minutes of moderate walking with some incline (up to 8%)
  • 10 minutes of running at 8.5 kmh and
  • 10 minutes of moderate and slow walking to cool down.

I have burned 514calories and ran/walked 7.4 km. I have actually ran more than walked … and I am proud of it :D

Tomorrow is another day and another workout. See you later.

11JanWeek #11 Sunday exercise / 80 min (9.5 km)

Today’s workout was:

  • 20 minutes of warm upand light incline walking at 5% incline
  • 20 minutes of running at 8.5 kmh
  • 10 minutes of moderate walking
  • 10 minutes of running at 8.5 kmh
  • 10 minutes of 12% incline walking
  • 10 minutes of cooling down by moderate and slow walking

It was an intense and longer than average exercise and I burned 711 calories. The lower number of burned calories was due to running. If you look at previous exercises you will be able to notice that the incline walking can make you burn by far the largest number of calories.
